Rohde & Liesenfeld Canada Inc. President & CEO Jan Beringer is a member of the Big Hearted Mavericks Foundation based out of Calgary.

The Big Hearted Mavericks are a group of 25 local Calgarian businessmen dedicated to charity and camaraderie. Between sponsoring chuckwagon drivers at the Calgary Stampede, hosting fundraising events, and engaging with the community, the Big Hearted Mavericks have been leaving their mark on the city for 16 years. They are all about “having fun and making a difference”.

All Big Hearted Mavericks participate and volunteer their time to assist in the raising of funds to actively support Calgary and area children-focused not-for-profit agencies and individual needs. To date, the Big Hearted Mavericks have raised over $4 million towards children's charities in the Calgary area.
